Build the baseline
Complete the in-depth private intake so guidance can reflect your relationships, time, food, habits, fears, spiritual practice, strengths, and barriers.
Use the daily loop
Read Morning, rehearse one response, live the practice, then complete the nightly reflection with specific evidence and any needed repair.
Connect with consent
Invite family, accountability partners, elders, or church members. Roles coordinate the relationship; explicit grants control supported personal sharing.

Create an account and begin the trial
Choose Individual, Family, Preacher Pro, or Preacher Pro + Family, create the account, verify the email, and begin the 30-day trial. Whole Church begins with a custom setup conversation.
Complete the private formation profile
Answer at your own pace. The intake covers relationships, temperament, fear and protection patterns, spiritual practices, time, food, health context, and readiness for change. You control sharing.
Use the morning plan
Open Morning after a nightly reflection. Read the meditation, rehearse the body pause, and choose the one concrete action to practice under pressure.
Complete the nightly reflection
Describe the situation, body response, inner story, action, cost, repair, food, time, and support needed. Specific evidence makes the next plan more useful.
Assign recurring responsibilities
Open Time, add a responsibility, choose the person, cadence, weekdays, priority, and start date. Daily, weekly, and monthly assignments continue until edited, paused, or removed.
Protect a child or family member's privacy
Family managers can coordinate shared tasks and schedules. Private journals, reflections, and coaching are not automatically visible. Use explicit, revocable grants for supported sharing.
Invite members with the right license
A church administrator assigns church responsibility and product access separately: Salt & Light only, Sermon Analyzer only, both, or administration only. The invitation reserves the selected license, while private sharing remains controlled by the member.
Understand Preacher Pro family access
Preacher Pro belongs to one subscribing preacher and includes that person's Salt & Light access. It does not unlock sermon tools for relatives. Preacher Pro + Family adds Salt & Light household seats; extra preacher users require extra preacher licenses.
Use the elder care workspace
Elders see assigned members, consented status signals, requested support, due follow-ups, and suggested conversation openings. They do not receive unrestricted private journal access.
Bring church patterns into Sermon Studio
When the minimum privacy cohort is met, a preacher can pull a de-identified church pulse into a sermon brief. Names, quotations, and individual journal text are excluded.
Review or revoke sharing
Open Privacy to inspect active grants, their scopes, recipients, and expiration. Revoke a grant when the care or accountability relationship changes.
Track meals without shame
Use Health or the nightly reflection to record meals, hunger, stress, sleep, energy, and triggers. Guidance is educational coaching, not diagnosis or medical treatment.
Manage billing or cancel
Open Account and Billing, then use the Stripe customer portal to update payment details or cancel. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
Install the phone app
Open Install for the current Android package and mobile setup guidance. The native app uses the same encrypted account and Salt & Light workspace as the website.
A page asks me to finish onboarding
Open the formation profile from the onboarding link, complete the required sections, and save. The program needs that baseline before it can generate a safe personalized week.
A page does not fit my phone
Refresh once after an update and close any desktop-site browser mode. Salt & Light supports phone widths without horizontal page scrolling; contact support with a screenshot if a specific card still overflows.
